Country music favorite Chris Cagle, rising star Chris Janson, and the popular local Tony Marques Band will headline the seventh Country in the Park outdoor concert and festival on Saturday, May 11. Presented by the best-selling Mountain’s Edge master plan and Vegas Country 95.5 KWNR, the free event is 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the amphitheater in the community’s Exploration Park, located at 9275 So. Buffalo Drive.
The Tony Marques Band opens the show from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by Janson from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., and culminating with Chris Cagle from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Additionally, the event features a beer garden, food vendors, and variety of booths and exhibits.
Attendees are invited to bring picnic baskets, blankets and chairs, and enjoy the entire day at Exploration Park. The 80-acre park offers a Western Village, Native American play structures, archeological dig area, splash pad and the 2,846-foot-tall Exploration Peak with hiking and cycling trails.
