Did you know there is a competition to crown the World's Ugliest Dog?
It happened Friday in Petaluma, California. The winner is named Mr. Happy Face, a 17-year-old Chinese Crested-Chihuahua mix with with a punk hairdo and long tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Owner Janeda says she adopted the looker last year from a shelter in Arizona after he was rescued from a hoarder's house. She was told the pup had multiple tumors and was giving about a month to live.
She says, "He was the happiest creature that I had ever met. He hobbled up to me and chose me. I vowed that day, he would be so loved that he would never remember how awful his previous life had been.”
We love that twist to the story. But would you consider this dog to be ugly?
